South Australian Forestry Corporation Board

The Board consists of five independent, non-executive directors including the Chair. The current Board was appointed from January 1, 2006 until December 31, 2007 and has been reappointed until December 31, 2009.

John RossJohn Ross (Chairperson)
John has extensive local government and public sector governance experience.  He has been an elected member of the Tatiara District Council since 1979 and is currently Chairman of the Council.  He was President of the Australian Local Government Association (ALGA) between 1999 and 2002, and a member of the Council of Australian Governments (COAG).  John is currently Chair of the Local Government Workers' Compensation Scheme and the Local Government Mutual Liability Scheme.

Stephen Duncan B.Stephen DuncanEc., FCA

Mr Duncan is a Chartered Accountant and a Partner of the national firm of specialist corporate advisors, KordaMentha.  He has been practising in the area of Corporate Advisory, Turnaround Management and Financial Consulting Services since 1980.  He specialises in all forms of personal and corporate financial reconstructions, general strategic planning including consulting to management, government and Boards of Directors.

Julie Meeking

Julie Meeking BA, MBA

Ms Meeking is principal of a business consulting firm.  She has held executive positions in merchant banking, manufacturing and commerce.  In recent years she has had held directorships of numerous organisations including Australian Dance Theatre, State Supply Board, Walford Anglican School for Girls and the Remunerational Tribunal.

 

Diana Lloyd

Diana Lloyd B.For.Sci., GAICD

Diana is a forester, consulting in forestry, environmental management and communications. Diana has over 20 years experience in the forestry sector. Diana is involved in forestry education through the Southern Cross University forestry degree in Mount Gambier.  Diana is also involved in many local, State and National forestry associations, committees and advisory bodies.

 

Graham Foreman

Graham Foreman B.Ec.

Graham held a number of senior Public Service positions prior to retirement including Chief Executive of the Department of Administration and Information Services and Commissioner for Public Employment.  Graham is currently Chair of the Coast Protection Board and was Chair of ForestrySA’s Advisory Board from 1997-2000.
