Structure of the South Australian Forestry
Corporation – ForestrySA
The structure and functions of the South
Australian Forestry Corporation are set out within this annual
report.
The South Australian Forestry Corporation
Board is responsible for the commercial decisions related to
the management and further development opportunities within the
Forest Industry.
There are four administrative units within
ForestrySA, Business Support, Policy and Community Forestry,
Forestry Development and Plantation Products.

Energy Efficiency Action Plan
In November 2001 the South Australian
Cabinet approved the Government Energy Efficiency Action Plan,
a comprehensive whole-of-government energy management program
that will improve energy efficiency and reduce costs across all
sectors of the government’s operations. The Premier
officially launched the Plan on 3 May 2002.
ForestrySA is aware of the plan and is
currently developing a strategy to achieve the targets set by
the South Australian Government.
Disability Action Plan
ForestrySA is reviewing its Disability
Action Plan and is expected to implement new strategies
by June 2003. |
